Gaullimaufry are Sarah Marks, Pete Rimmer and Roger Gardiner, all accomplished musicians rich in a unique musical heritage and a passion for playing and sharing music. Together they spread their musical wings very wide, encompassing jigs and reels fro the British Isles to the gypsy horas of Hungary and Romania and the rhythm and blues from across the Atlantic and bring their lively and individual school workshops to you. Gaullimaufry will guide you though some of our traditional country dance steps, inspire the children to have some great ideas for their own songs and lead those learning to play instruments in exciting improvised music making sessions. We are very flexible in our approach and programming and would be happy to meet with you personally to discuss ideas for our workshops in your school

Instrumental Workshop | |||||
This can be done in several ways: The children can be divided up into three groups and spend an equal amount of time with each musician who will demonstrate his/her instrument inviting the children to ask questions and perhaps try out some sounds of their own. The musicians could work with those children who already play to develop their skills and give them new ideas. |
